Could PSIM Jogja Be a Team Without a Home in the Upcoming Season?

As the 2025-26 Liga 1 season approaches, PSIM Jogja's management is moving swiftly to ensure the club is fully prepared—especially when it comes to securing a suitable home stadium. Currently, the club has proposed three potential venues to the Indonesian league operator, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB). The options include Mandala Krida Stadium in Yogyakarta, Sultan Agung Stadium in Bantul, and Moch. Soebroto Stadium in Magelang.
LIB will play a key role in determining which of these stadiums meet the league's regulations and standards, especially regarding infrastructure and facilities. One example is Sultan Agung Stadium, which, while equipped with lighting and widely regarded as meeting general requirements, reportedly falls short of Liga 1's specific lighting standards.
Due to this uncertainty, PSIM Jogja has opted to wait for guidance from the league authority before finalizing their home base. This approach reflects the club’s commitment to being well-prepared for their debut in Liga 1.
The management has encouraged fans to remain patient as they work behind the scenes to secure the most suitable venue for LaskarMataram’s upcoming campaign.
