Saddil Ramdani’s Sabah Journey Nears Its End — A Move to Persib on the Horizon?

After four successful seasons with Sabah FC, SaddilRamdani appears to be nearing the end of his chapter in Malaysian football. The Indonesian winger, who has been a key figure for the club since joining in early 2021, is reportedly set to part ways with the team at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
His current contract is scheduled to expire on May 31, 2025, coinciding with the end of the Malaysian football calendar. Recent reports from Malaysian media suggest that Sabah FC’s management is not planning to extend his stay, signaling a possible departure in the near future.
Saddil, who previously played for Bhayangkara FC before making the move abroad, has left a solid mark at Sabah. With 87 appearances, 22 goals, and 30 assists to his name, his contribution to the team’s attacking play has been substantial. While the club hasn’t lifted any silverware during his time, they have remained competitive at the top end of the Malaysian Super League table—no small feat considering Johor DarulTa'zim’s decade-long dominance and unmatched financial strength.
Speculation is already swirling around his next destination, with Persib Bandung emerging as a potential landing spot. If confirmed, the move would mark a homecoming for Saddil and an exciting addition to the Indonesian football scene.
