List of Prospective Naturalized Players for Indonesia's National Team

In 2025, Indonesia’s national football team (Timnas) is expected to see an influx of naturalized players, which will strengthen their squad and boost their chances for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification. As part of their preparations, the team is gearing up for the third round of Group C qualifiers, where they will face Australia and Bahrain in March. The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has set a target of securing victories in these matches to ease their path to the next stage.

Currently sitting in third place in Group C with six points, the national team is hoping that newly naturalized players, Ole Romeny and Jairo Riedewald, will be available for these upcoming matches. In addition to these two, there are at least six more players who have expressed interest in joining the national team, with four of them being new names on PSSI's radar.

Some of these players, like Luca Everink, Tommy St. Jago, Million Manhoef, and Ilias Alhaft, are of Indonesian descent and have shown interest in representing the country due to their connections and the appeal of coach Patrick Kluivert’s leadership.

Luca Everink, a 23-year-old right-back from the Netherlands, has Indonesian heritage through his father and is keen to join the national team. Tommy St. Jago, a 25-year-old central defender, currently plays for Willem II in the Eredivisie and has expressed his interest through his social media.

Million Manhoef, a versatile winger playing for Stoke City in England, has also shown interest in becoming a naturalized Indonesian player, partly due to Kluivert’s appointment. Lastly, Ilias Alhaft, a versatile forward in the Dutch second division, has signaled his desire to join the team despite his current position in the lower league.

PSSI is actively working on naturalizing these players to further strengthen the squad in the hopes of a successful World Cup qualification campaign.
