Dime Dimov Sets Ambitious Goals for His First Season with Persebaya

Dime Dimov, the new foreign player for Persebaya, has set high expectations for his first season with the club. The 30-year-old North Macedonian player is aiming to help the team secure a championship title.



Dimov expressed his confidence in the club, noting that it is well-organized and has the largest fanbase in Indonesia. He is determined to bring a title to the team, especially after a 20-year gap since their last league championship win.

Persebaya’s chances of winning the title this season look promising, as they finished the first half of the season in second place, just two points behind leaders Persib. The team had even briefly been at the top of the standings earlier in the season.

Above all, Dimov hopes to quickly adapt to the team and its playing style. He is likely to make his debut in Persebaya's upcoming match against PSS Sleman on January 11, 2025.

Dimov is confident about his adaptation process, stating that he has no concerns. While his primary position is as a central defender, he is also open to playing in other positions, including as a right-back if necessary.
