Japan vs Indonesia National Team Match to Be Held at Suita Municipal Soccer Stadium

The Japan Football Association (JFA) has officially announced the venue for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against the Indonesia national team. According to their official website, the match will take place in Osaka. This will be the final game for both teams in Group C of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers for the Asian region. The JFA confirmed that the match will be held at Suita Municipal Soccer Stadium in Osaka, Japan, on June 10, 2025.
Suita Municipal Soccer Stadium is not only a stadium but also a stronghold for the Japan national team. With all its advantages, it could be a decisive factor in securing a win for the Samurai Blue. This venue is something the Indonesia national team will need to be cautious about.
Japan is close to securing a spot in the 2026 World Cup, currently sitting at the top of Group C with 16 points from five wins and one draw. Their chances of qualifying directly for the tournament are high, as the top two teams in the group are guaranteed a spot, while the third and fourth-place teams will have to compete in the fourth round.
Indonesia is currently in third place with six points from six matches, still in the race for a World Cup spot either as a runner-up or through the fourth round. Like Japan, Indonesia has four remaining matches in the third round of the qualifiers, including games against Australia (March 20, 2025), Bahrain (March 25, 2025), China (June 5, 2025), and Japan (June 10, 2025).
