Kluivert, the former Adana Demirspor coach, expressed confidence in his coaching staff and is ready to take on his duties once he arrives in Indonesia on December 12. However, PSSI President Erick Thohir shared an unexpected detail during an interview on the ROSI program. He revealed that Alex and Denny were not Kluivert's personal choices, suggesting that the two were appointed by PSSI separately. While the three coaches may not have worked together before, they are familiar with each other.

The decision was made to ensure that the national team’s coaching staff would focus on teamwork rather than individual egos. Thohir emphasized that success in sports requires collaboration, not reliance on individual talent.

He further clarified that the Indonesia national team does not belong to any one individual, but rather to the nation and its people. PSSI’s role is to provide the necessary resources to help the team achieve success and bring pride to the Indonesian public.

Thohir also highlighted Indonesia's long-term goal of consistently qualifying for the World Cup. He stressed that for this vision to become a reality, the team needs to develop strong leadership and coaching continuity.
