Indonesia’s Football League Transforms: LIB Unveils New Identity as ILeague
PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) has officially rebranded its main football competition under the new name ILeague, accompanied by a fresh logo that symbolizes the collective spirit and ambition of Indonesian football. While PT LIB continues as the official organizer, the rebranding aims to elevate the league’s profile and unify all stakeholders—from players and clubs to fans and the wider community—under a shared vision for growth.

The new ILeague logo carries deep meaning, featuring a striker that represents determination and energy on the pitch, with a central football symbolizing the core essence of the sport. The design integrates the letter 'I' with the striker figure to emphasize inclusiveness and the league’s identity, while the logo’s 11-degree tilt reflects the eleven unique players in every team, highlighting the foundational role of teamwork.

Additional elements in the logo such as the baseline, referred to as "The Ground," signify the strong foundation supporting each match, and the upward movement within the design portrays the continuous growth and strengthening of Indonesian football. This visual identity aims not only to refresh the brand but also to inspire a collective transformation fueled by a shared passion for the game.

This rebranding is part of a broader effort that has already seen changes to the league structure, with Liga 1 now called Super League and Liga 2 rebranded as Championships. The initiative reflects LIB’s commitment to modernizing the competition and fostering a unified football culture that can thrive domestically and internationally.
