Persib Bandung's Reward After Winning Liga 1 2024-25
Persib Bandung secured the Liga 1 2024-25 title after their closest rival, Persebaya Surabaya, failed to win against Persik Kediri. With this result, Persib, who had already amassed 64 points, confirmed their back-to-back championship victory. Persebaya remained in third place, and despite still having three matches left, they could only reach a maximum of 63 points, making it mathematically impossible for them to overtake Persib.

As the Liga 1 champions, Persib is entitled to a monetary reward from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB). The prize money has been increased by 50% compared to last season. In 2023-2024, Persib received a reward of IDR 5 billion for their league title. This season, with the prize pool increase, they will receive IDR 7.5 billion.

The increase in prize money reflects a positive trend in the league's growth, and the additional funds will likely serve as a morale boost for the team and the club as a whole. Ferry Paulus, the President Director of PT LIB, confirmed the prize adjustment, adding to the excitement and celebration for the club.
