Inter Tops UEFA Rankings, Juventus Trails Behind Italian Rivals

Inter Milan has climbed to the top of the UEFA coefficient rankings, a position secured after their recent 3-3 draw with Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals and Arsenal's defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. As the only Italian team still competing in a UEFA competition this season, Inter holds a clear advantage over the other Serie A clubs in Europe. Alongside Fiorentina, they are the sole representatives of Italy still in the mix for improving their rankings.
Lazio is the second-highest-ranked Italian club in the UEFA rankings, largely due to their strong showing in the Europa League. Meanwhile, Atalanta ranks third, followed by Fiorentina and Milan, who are tied at 24th place. Juventus, once a dominant force in European football, has fallen to 34th place, behind several of their Serie A counterparts, including Lazio, Atalanta, and Fiorentina, but ahead of Roma and Bologna, who sit further down the table.
The UEFA coefficient rankings this season feature 236 teams, with Inter leading the Italian charge in 1st place with 36.750 points. Lazio sits 13th with 26.000 points, while Juventus lags behind in 34th with 16.250 points. With most Italian teams eliminated from the Champions League and Europa League, the focus now shifts to Inter and Fiorentina as the remaining clubs with potential to climb further in the rankings.
