Boris Kopitovic, the new foreign striker for Bali United FC, has quickly drawn comparisons to the club's former star, Ilija Spasojevic. The two share several notable similarities in their playing styles, leading fans to liken Kopitovic to the Indonesian nationalized striker.

Kopitovic made an impressive debut by helping Bali United secure a commanding 1-5 win over Semen Padang FC on January 20, 2025. His playing style, which includes relentless effort and proficiency with both feet, mirrors Spasojevic’s characteristics.
