Aitana Bonmati has been awarded the FIFA Best Women’s Player for the second consecutive year, solidifying her status as one of the top talents in women’s football. The Barcelona midfielder, who played a pivotal role in Spain's victory at the 2023 Women’s World Cup, received this prestigious honor during the FIFA Best Awards ceremony. Bonmati also clinched the Golden Ball for best player in the tournament, highlighting her exceptional performance on the global stage.

At just 26 years old, Bonmati has already achieved remarkable success, including winning the women's Ballon d'Or in both 2023 and 2024. Last season, she was instrumental in Barcelona’s historic quadruple, helping the team secure the Liga F, Champions League, Supercopa, and Copa de la Reina titles.
