Noni Madueke Agrees to Join Arsenal, Awaiting Club Negotiations

Arsenal has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Noni Madueke, the 23-year-old winger currently playing for Chelsea. While formal talks between the two clubs have yet to begin, Madueke has expressed his interest in moving to Arsenal, who aim to strengthen their wing options ahead of the 2025-26 season. The good relationship between Arsenal and Chelsea may facilitate smoother negotiations.
Madueke had a solid 2024-25 campaign with Chelsea, appearing in 45 matches and contributing 11 goals and five assists despite facing some injury setbacks. His performance, including appearances in the FIFA Club World Cup, has increased his appeal, making him an attractive candidate to add versatility and depth to Arsenal’s attack.
Since joining Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in January 2023, Madueke has made over 90 appearances and is under contract until 2030. His background includes training stints at Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace academies before moving abroad at a young age to develop in the Dutch league.
One notable detail is that Madueke is not classified as a homegrown player under Premier League and UEFA rules due to his transfer abroad before turning 18. This factor could influence Arsenal’s squad planning as they look to integrate him into their roster.
