The club introduced the 27-year-old forward through their official Instagram channel, highlighting his impressive speed that rivals some of the fastest players in the world. Plazonja’s top speed of nearly 37 km/h places him among elite company, surpassing notable stars like Kylian Mbappe and Adama Traore.
Born in Croatia, Plazonja developed his skills in the country’s respected football environment, including stints at NK Osijek and Dinamo Zagreb academies. His professional career also took him to leagues in Slovenia, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina before moving to Singapore’s Hougang United in 2024.
