Bryan Mbeumo Rejects Spurs Interest, Eyes Manchester United Move
Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo has hit a dead end, as the Brentford forward has made it clear he only wants to join Manchester United. Despite strong interest from both clubs, Mbeumo appears focused solely on a move to Old Trafford, narrowing the options for Brentford in the current transfer window.

Manchester United has already made two offers for the Cameroonian striker, including a recent bid worth £55 million plus £7.5 million in bonuses. However, Brentford has rejected both proposals, holding firm to their valuation of around £65 million. United is expected to return with a third offer in hopes of closing the deal.

Tottenham, under new manager Thomas Frank—the very coach who helped Mbeumo flourish at Brentford—has also shown serious intent. With Son Heung-Min likely to depart and Timo Werner not retained, Mbeumo was seen as a key figure in Spurs’ revamped attack. They were even prepared to outbid United to land the forward.

However, Mbeumo’s preference has ultimately shaped the situation. Reports suggest he has already informed both clubs that his priority is to play for Manchester United, effectively ending Tottenham’s chances despite their financial readiness. This puts pressure on United to meet Brentford’s asking price if they want to secure the deal.
