Full Squad Revealed: 30 Players Selected for Liga Indonesia All Star at 2025 President's Cup
The organizers of the 2025 President's Cup have officially announced the 30 players selected to represent the Liga Indonesia All Star team. This prestigious preseason tournament serves as a showcase for top domestic talent, with all players chosen through an online public vote that attracted over 83,000 responses. The high level of engagement highlights the strong enthusiasm of Indonesian football fans ahead of the tournament.
Persija Jakarta and Persis Solo stood out as the most represented clubs, each contributing four players to the final squad. This reflects not only their on-field strength but also their strong fan bases who actively participated in the voting process. The All Star team is set to compete in Group A alongside England’s Oxford United and local side Arema FC, with their opening match scheduled for July 6, 2025, at Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
The squad is balanced across all positions, with three goalkeepers providing a reliable foundation at the back, while the defense is formed by a mix of central defenders and attacking full-backs from clubs across the league. The midfield boasts nine versatile players who offer a combination of creativity, control, and work rate, ensuring fluid play and stability throughout matches.
