Madura United Boosts Attack with Signing of Forward Aji Kusuma

Madura United FC has officially strengthened their attacking lineup by signing forward Aji Kusuma for the Liga 1 2025-26 season. The 26-year-old player from Bengkalis, Riau, will join the team for one season, adding valuable experience to the squad known as Laskar Sapeh Kerrab. His arrival comes as part of the club’s effort to enhance their offensive capabilities.
Aji Kusuma’s football journey began with Bali United’s academy before starting his professional career at Persika Karawang in 2017. Over the years, he has played for several Indonesian clubs, including a significant four-season stint at Persiba Balikpapan, followed by two seasons at Persija Jakarta, where he made 37 appearances and scored five goals. Most recently, he spent a season with Persita, featuring in 25 matches and contributing one goal.
The club president emphasized that Aji’s addition is aimed at addressing the team’s previously limited attacking options. With his domestic experience and past involvement with the Indonesia U-19 national team, where he helped secure third place in the AFF U-19 Championship in 2018, the club expects him to make a meaningful impact on their goal-scoring output.
Madura United is hopeful that Aji’s presence will increase their productivity up front and provide a stronger offensive threat in the upcoming season. The club warmly welcomed him and looks forward to his contributions as they prepare for new challenges ahead.
