Rachmat Irianto Officially Parts Ways with Persib Bandung After Three Seasons

Rachmat Irianto has officially left Persib Bandung and will not be part of the squad for the 2025-26 Liga 1 season. The club’s deputy CEO confirmed that both parties agreed to end their cooperation, recognizing Irianto as a valuable player who contributed significantly during his time at Persib. His departure marks the end of an important chapter for both the player and the club.
Irianto joined Persib Bandung at the start of the 2022-23 season, transferring from Persebaya Surabaya alongside Ricky Kambuaya. Over three seasons, he was an integral part of the team’s success, helping Persib secure two Liga 1 titles in consecutive seasons, 2023-24 and 2024-25. His consistent performances made him a reliable presence in the squad despite coaching changes.
Throughout his tenure, Irianto maintained solid form, appearing in most matches during his first two seasons and contributing a couple of goals. However, his final season was cut short by a knee injury that required surgery and sidelined him for the remainder of the campaign. Despite this setback, his overall impact on the club remained strong, with a total of 66 league appearances and participation in the AFC Champions League.
The club expressed gratitude for Irianto’s dedication and wished him success in his future career endeavors. His departure signals a new phase for both the player and Persib Bandung as they look to rebuild and prepare for upcoming challenges in Indonesian football.
