Ernando Ari Signs Contract Extension with Persebaya

Ernando Ari has officially extended his contract with Persebaya Surabaya, ensuring that he will continue as a key player for the club. Persebaya’s Operations Director, Candra Wahyudi, confirmed that the team’s foundation will remain intact for the upcoming season.

Ernando, a product of Persebaya’s U-20 academy, has been a reliable presence as the team's goalkeeper. He first joined Persebaya in 2018, starting with the U-18 team, and later advancing to the U-20 squad.

Over the years, he has earned a solid reputation, especially after playing a crucial role in helping Persebaya U-20 win the Elite Pro Academy in 2019, where he saved all of Barito Putera U-20’s penalty kicks in the final.

Candra Wahyudi expressed his satisfaction with Ernando’s contract renewal, emphasizing that the club’s core will remain the same for the next season. In addition to Ernando, Persebaya has also extended contracts with four other players for multiple years: captain Bruno Moreira, Flavio Silva, Francisco Rivera, and Malik Risaldi. These renewals, along with that of backup goalkeeper Andhika Ramadhani, indicate a strong and stable team for the future.

With these contract extensions, the team is set to retain its strong foundation, and Persebaya looks forward to maintaining a competitive squad in the upcoming seasons.
