FT: Liverpool 2-0 Manchester City

In the 13th round of England's top-flight football league, Liverpool hosted Manchester City at home. In the first half, Virgil van Dijk's header hit the post, Mohamed Salah assisted Cody Gakpo to score with a cross, van Dijk's header narrowly missed, and Trent Alexander-Arnold's long-range shot went off target.

In the second half, van Dijk once again created danger with a header, Salah missed a one-on-one chance, but later converted a penalty to extend the lead. Kevin De Bruyne's one-on-one attempt was saved. In the end, Liverpool secured an important 2-0 victory over Manchester City.
